Cathy has lambed!!

Well, yesterday morning I went out to check on Cathy and her udder was way bigger then Friday night. So, a little bit later I went and checked on her and she started having some little contractions. I kept checking on her for a little while, and then around 2:00 pm when I looked at her she was streaming mucous, and having really close hard contractions. 

After a few more good contractions the feet were out.

Then a little bit later there came the lamb!! She had a single, big ramling. The sire to him is Clyde, and the dam is Cathy.

New Little Lamb!!

We went to the Warren livestock auction in Leach, OK yesterday. My brother bought some wild pigs there and I bought a little ewe lamb. She looks like she is Katahdin/Dorper cross. She was in a pen with a few other lambs and the moms to her and the other lambs. Ewes in the pen looked like white Katahdin. I have not figured out a name for her yet. I do not know how old she is, but I am guessing that she is a month and a half to two months old. She is a tri-color eweling.
